Trinidad and Tobago are very different. Just a few miles separate the two islands but they are worlds apart. Caroni Bird Sanctuary, Trinidad - This bird sanctuary is home to the scarlet ibis, Trinidad’s national bird. Boat tours bring visitors within viewing distance of this rare bird.
Arnos Vale Waterwheel and Nature Park, Tobago - This park was established on the grounds of an old sugar plantation to preserve Tobago's wildlife.
Paria Falls, Trinidad - Paria Falls is one of the island's most spectacular waterfalls.
Argyle Falls, Tobago - This 600-foot waterfall, set against the background of an old cocoa plantation, is an amazing sight.
Piparo Mud Volcano and Devil's Woodyard, Trinidad - These are Trinidad's most well-known mud volcanoes. They erupt infrequently but dramatically, emitting mud hundreds of feet into the air.

Fort George, Port of Spain, Trinidad - Fort George, built by the British in 1804, was part of a series of fortifications in the northwest area of Trinidad overlooking the Gulf of Paria.Fort King George, Scarborough, Tobago - This fort was built on Tobago in the 1780s by the British as a colonial outpost.
Temple in the Sea at Waterloo, Trinidad - This temple is on the water and a pedestrian causeway reaches it. A beautiful sight, which is popular among visitors.
