Snorkeling in Turks & Caicos:

White House Reef - Simply stated, this is one of the most easily accessible yet carefully preserved reefs in the world, located just 5 yards off shore in front of the Coral Gardens property. You'll find exotic, colorful coral and abundant reef fish. Recent spotting included Parrotfish, Nassau Grouper, Barracuda (don't worry--you're bigger than they are) and others. Don't go inside of the floating markers--they are there to preserve the reef--but there is plenty to see. Be mindful also of a slight current as you move further out from shore. Bring your own snorkel, mask, and fins or rent them for about $10 per day at the Coral Gardens property located right on the beach in front of White House Reef. Since Grace Bay beach is one continuous strip of sand, this attraction is just an invigorating walk away from nearly any beachfront hotel.
