Welcome to Anguilla, a friendly mini-paradise in the Caribbean!
Warm and friendly people, white-sand beaches, houses not higher than a coconut tree, harmony and tranquility - Anguilla is one of the most enchanting destinations in the Caribbean. Anguilla is noted for its spectacular and ecologically important coral reefs, ideal for scuba diving. Anguilla Travel Tips
The beach options are seemingly endless: Rendezvous Bay, Cove Bay and Mead’s Bay have long curved strands of sand. Smaller pocket beaches include Limestone Bay, known for its snorkeling, and Little Bay, reached only by boat. Shoal Bay East is undoubtedly the island’s most popular beach while Scrub Island, Prickly Pear and Dog Island are excellent for snorkeling.
Art aficionados will enjoy touring Anguilla’s 16 galleries, which feature a mix of local and Caribbean crafts, woodcarving, hand-blown glass and fine art.

Anguilla Things To Do
Soft sands and the turquoise waters make the beach options in Anguilla seemingly endless. The Caribbean-side beaches have calmer waters and the Atlantic-side beaches have more waves.
Anguilla Beaches:
Shoal Bay East - This beautiful beach with soft, white sand and turquoise water, was voted as one of the top ten beaches in the world.Rendezvous Bay - The bay is not only the site of a popular beach, but was once the location of a key battle between the English and French for colonial control over the island.
Cove Bay - Located next to Rendezvous Bay West, Cove Bay features white sand and panoramic views of its own.
Savanna Bay - The beach at Savanna Bay features calm waters for swimming and snorkeling as well as pleasant shaded areas provided by numerous palm trees.
Little Bay - Accessible only by boat, this secluded cove is perfect for a quiet afternoon on the beach.
Captain's Bay - Located on the island's northeastern coast, Captain’s Bay is known for its large surf.
Prickly Pear - This small island is located about six miles from the Anguillan mainland and is popular among swimmers and snorkelers looking for a less crowded experience.
Anguilla Landmarks:
Wallblake House, The Valley - Built in 1787, Wallblake House is the oldest and only surviving plantation house on Anguilla. It is one of the few plantation houses where the entire complex of buildings including the kitchen, stable and workers quarters has survived virtually intact.Old Factory, The Valley - For many years the cotton grown on Anguilla and exported to England was ginned in this beautiful historic building, now home of the Anguilla Tourist Office.
Old Prison, The Valley - The ruins of this historic jail on Anguilla's highest point are not spectacular in any way, but the views are.
